What is Service schema?
Service is the schema.org type for work you perform, such as boiler repair, tax returns or web design. It names the service and its type, links to the provider and lists the areas you cover and an optional price.
Google doesn't document a rich result for Service, so the fields here follow schema.org. Use it on service pages to state plainly what you do and where, which is the kind of fact AI answers repeat.
Does Google show a rich result for Service?
Google has no rich result for Service markup; it's a schema.org type that describes what you offer, who provides it and where, for search engines and AI systems. schema.org/Service.

How to add Service schema to your site
- Add one Service block to each service page, describing that service only.
- Use the same provider name and URL as your Organization or LocalBusiness markup.
- Validate it in the Schema Markup Validator (the Rich Results Test has no Service report).
- Pair the markup with a page that answers buyers' questions. Our service page SEO work covers both.
